My name is Vernon Holt, I am an experienced bespoke picture framer. I understand it can be a little daunting commissioning a frame you have chosen. What if it looks wrong? colours not right? How expensive will it be? I take the time to show you your options, the price will be given immediately, and finally I offer a money back guarantee if not satisfied. Parking is available outside the workshop and Berwick train station is 3 minutes walk away. I work on an appointment basis.
Prices of frames vary greatly, size and style are factors, however I am competitive on price and use the highest grade of materials as standard. Further options on gilding and museum glass, go a step further. Once the price is given, I do not change it, so no nasty surprises. In the past few weeks, I have replaced broken glass at £15 and made complete new frames with mounts from £25 to £380. I quote 2 to 3 weeks in making the frame. Sometimes this can be much quicker. For over 39 years, I have been framing pictures of all types and sizes. My first Gallery Framers was in Barnes, SW London, overlooking the Thames. Here am I in 1993, just a week after opening and there was a flood! (the cyclist made it through) I now work from Berwick, near Alfriston.

Light and dampness are the chief concerns, advice freely given on the best way forward if required. Prices are dependent on the work entailed, but it starts from a few pounds, I aim to provide good value.
I work on an appointment only basis, to ensure you are given the proper time and choice to peruse all the options and choices. It also ensures you don’t have a wasted journey, should I not be here.
